Lossless and Near-lossless Video Compression System Utilizing a NoC Architecture

Abstract
In this paper, we describe our technique for lossless and near-lossless video compression based on the blending prediction method. We provide an outline of the proposed modeling and lossless compression of images which is characterized with relatively low implementation complexity. We compare the proposed technique with the current state of the art methods and briefly describe our system-level implementation utilizing the Network on Chip (NoC) architecture.
